Charles Burrell Museum

Hi All, we had a lovely surprise when our Prize Winner Ray contacted us to see how the Charles Burrell Museum was doing, and again thanking us for the opportunity to drive a Steam Engine. He won our Driving Day Experience raffle and got to use his prize at Bressingham’s Steam Gala in 2018. It was watching Bressingham’s TV show that had reminded him of his day of steaming which he really enjoyed, as well as being able to have a look round Bressingham. Bressingham agreed to help us with letting us run this on their site, to which we are very grateful. He kindly sent us some of his photos, see below. This raffle helped to raise some much needed funds for the Charles Burrell Museum, who knows we might look to do it again in the future. Being closed at this time due to the current COVID-19 situation is having a negative effort on the Charles Burrell Museum funds. We are a free museum, run by volunteers, and rely on our visitors donations, sales from our Steamers Cafe and Shop to help run the museum.
