As you are aware CBM was given £5000 from Thetford Town Council.
During the winter the museum will be having a refurbishment of the cafe, along with a couple of other smaller projects inside.
We are calling for anybody, volunteers or public, local or further a field, who would like to be involved in the projects.
Any help would be greatly appreciated to get the outside painted, this is a grade 2 listed building and we would love to restore it for the future of the museum which houses a collection of Burrell steam engines, which where manufactured in Thetford.
A few people have commented on the doors exterior.
We are looking for:
Painters, carpenters, plasterers, labour, electricians, plumbers
We are a registered charity, and no money is involved, but your time, skills and enthusiasm to make The Charles Burrell Museum in Thetford, Norfolk be great again. This is a very important historical building in the area.
Thank you for reading.
